Last weekend, Derek Sparks, as Brand Ambassador for Le City Deluxe Magazine, attended many of the celebrity-filled fundraising events and parties that together made the tenth edition of Irie Weekend (IWX) one of the most memorable of them all. The National Hotel on South Beach, transformed into the Irie Weekend Hotel, is where the festivities began on Thursday night with the VIP Kick-Off Reception presented by Hublot featuring a live and silent auction, and concert by Ma$e. Attendees including Adrian Grenier, Dascha Polanco, Chuy Bravo and Chris Bosh. Friday’s highlights included the Celebrity Golf Tournament presented by Cadillac. Among the celebrity golfers were Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, Kevin Dillon, and Jason Taylor.
Saturday began with DJ Irie’s VIP pool party and barbecue at The Irie Weekend Hotel. Irie’s guests enjoyed signature cocktails courtesy of Chambord Vodka and Herradura Tequila and took part in Barry’s Bootcamp workout classes. On Saturday night, E11even Miami was the perfect spot for the closing celebration hosted by Jamie Foxx, which also served as DJ Irie’s birthday bash. A-list attendees included Puff Daddy and Floyd Mayweather.
