It was made with ¨aguardiente¨, a primitive predecessor of rum. The mint, lime and sugar were used to hide its strong flavor. Nowadays it is one of the favs by many and embraced by cities as New York, London, Paris & Barcelona.
If we describe the Mojito we could say it’s a sweet drink, refreshing, cool and natural. Its ingredients provide properties that will benefit us, like mint, excellent anti-inflammatory and digestive; the lemon, citrus fruit that satisfy thirst or rum, low in potassium, fat, sodium and sugar, of course if you take with measure.
