The next Thursday, March 31 at 19:00 h, Africa Alive Foundation presented at the Barcelona Jewelry Puig Doria watch collection limited edition solidarity on the occasion of its 15th anniversary o.
Under the slogan “Do not waste time, give Viva Africa”, the Foundation will use the full benefit from the sale of these original pieces to health projects, research and medical education in East Africa.
Viva Africa Foundation was established in 1996 and is chaired by the renowned pediatrician Dr. Victòria Fumadó. The Foundation Board is composed of prestigious professionals and academics, such as Federico Mayor Zaragoza, Ricardo Diez-Hochtleiner, Fumadó Antonio Esteve, David Grebler, Susana Gallardo and Eulalia Alsina.
The Scientific Committee is composed by Julián Zulueta, Clara Menédez, Manuel Corachán, Pedro L. Alonso, Nuria Casamitjana.
Viva Africa Foundation therefore seeks to improve the sanitary conditions of low income countries through assistance, health research and training of indigenous health workers. Its main objective is to reduce infant and maternal mortality.
