De puta a Diputada, led by the versatile Juanjo Sanchez, is a play that presents various social stereotypes and hypocrisies of both television and the political world with a view unusual and fun. Grotesque characters who pursue their dreams and ambitions at any cost. But we are also a reflection of how far we can get to see our wishes fulfilled, and the eternal struggle of a social class that looks at the television as the only possible path to success.
Vanessa Perez, represented by Cristina Sola is a neighborhood girl who becomes a heroine television able to trade his life to the absolute limits. A belt of suburbs that fiercely defends his own and his way of living. A search lives amidst a sea of sharks sink and catapult the basis of their political interests and television audiences.
All this with an aesthetic, a universe and a soundtrack all its own. Juanjo Sanchez presents us with a reflection through comedy with a vision openly acid and the characters they create television and the political class and which in turn feeds the company itself.
Juanjo Sanchez has over 20 years working in the theater world. In the beginning he founded with Santi Millán and Carlos Ortet the theater company “Macador Dopèstic“. Twenty years later still together Zoopa, producer of Congresswoman De Puta a Diputada to producing and directing shows.
