The Art of Being British: St James’s At Your Service takes place on Saturday 10th September from 12noon until 5pm. Enjoy some of the finest British fashion and lifestyle brands participating in a traffic free event that is packed with eccentric Britishness, unique presentations and engaging activities.
Taking place along the full length of Jermyn Street, in the heart of St James’s, London SW1, the occasion is hosted by The Crown Estate and the Jermyn Street Association, encouraging visitors from all over the world to celebrate the superb service and craftsmanship that exudes from the many retailers, cafes, restaurants and bars that are historically established in and around Jermyn Street.
There will be a festival showcasing the luxury brands that operate there: The Cavendish London Hotel has a free hog roast for visitors and cream teas available inside, Fortnum and Mason has tea tastings, shoemakers and shirtmakers showcase their crafts and entertainment includes live music from the Royal Academy of Music and face-painting for kids.
The Ritz will be there in style also! With a dance class, a demonstration of their new Ritz Manicure and Ritz evening hair demonstration. The team members of The Ritz will also be on hand to answer any questions you might have about the Hotel, the Restaurant, Bar or Salon.
