The textile editor firm Pepe Peñalver’s anniversary. His shop in Barcelona celebrates its first year since it began its new journey hand in hand with Alhambra Group. And celebrate with an event in which all eyes were directed towards the works of Julio Arriaga, an exhibition will remain open for a month. In addition, the store will open with a completely revamped.
The sample that Julio Arriaga has prepared for the occasion with input from several of his most representative works of the last ten years and responding to an art which he defines as “figurative expressionism”.
Julio Arriaga elartixta also calls himself, in Euskera, and precisely with the letter “x” has played for the nomenclature of his “Xtudio” and more specifically this year to promote the X years of his arrival in Barcelona that match the tenth anniversary of the opening of its space on the rue La Perla. The balance Arriaga makes his own history in all this time is “very positive”. Every year, towards the end of June, Arriaga opens its annual exhibition held in Barcelona and its Xtudio which collects all the work of that year and some of the above.
