The company initially concentrated on making pocket watches and chronometers based upon innovative ideas. In 1963, Karl Scheufele III, part of a jewellery and watch making family, bought the company. Since then, Chopard established itself as a benchmark in the field of stunning and innovative luxury watches and jewellery.

Since 2005 they have expanded their products further with the introduction of some marvellous luxury writing instruments.
The latest additions to Chopard’s writing collection are two exceptionally beautiful pencils with a very extraordinary appearance. Covered in Arabic cryptic signs these pencils have a mysterious twist. The writings instruments are finished of with an exclusive amethyst on top of the cap. Available in purple, the unique color of the Arabic emperor and the typical “Murex” shell pink. Both pencils are completed with platinum elements. The pens are available for €600,00 and the rollers for €399,00euro.
