This is a book entirely visual with the renowned photographer Manel Lock presents a powerful and subtle black and white narrative through 192 pages in a carefully co-publication of Novaera Publications and the City Council of Barcelona.
The artist’s vision
Lock shows once again that it is the photographer of the night and the city, its lights and borradizas presence. Photographs taken between 1980 and 2010 explore and reveal unknown aspects of Barcelona’s landmarks, and other public spaces difficult to identify the particular version of the same vision that gives the artist. The book, which is now on sale at all bookstores and the Web itself Novaera Publications, is presented by the writer Rafael Argullol and supplemented with only two texts: two poems by Joan Vinyoli dealing in the night and darkness .
