Deco: Collection inspired by the clouds

Gervasoni is a family business that has neither more nor less than 130 years in designing and manufacturing active home furnishings. It is now a broad and diverse reality that is managed by the third generation, John and Michael Gervasoni. Located in Pavia di Udine, has 80 employees who design, develop and market the furniture.

Over time, has adapted to the tastes of consumers turning each piece into a work of art. The key to success is the collaboration with highly skilled designers like Marco Piva sector or Sodeau Michael, ensuring the aesthetic quality of products and continuous testing of new materials. And Paola Navone, the artistic director of Gervasoni and Italian designer renowned in Europe, which has designed a collection of upholstery that gives it a very special Gervasoni.

Inspired by the Italian “per il cloud“, his name is Nuvola, and consists of an armchair and two sofas 165cm 220 and 260 cm. This collection features smooth contours with arms high and deep seats with solid wood frame and varied density polyurethane foam padding lined with quilted goose down fill and polyester staple fiber. Both the sofa and the chair are completely removable.

Delicate cotton and linen stick to his paintings, as if floating in the air, fabrics in soft tones and dusty create a welcoming and familiar. Even if we break with the established, we can conquer space with silver and fluorescent fabrics.

Currently Gervasoni collections are distributed in over fifty countries around the world and in Barcelona can be purchased at Mar de Cava, recognized store that links art, design and craftsmanship.
