Abercrombie and Fitch is an American company created in 1892 by David Abercrombie and Ezra Fitch. Based in the Ohio, the company has several brands, the most known are Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister Co. Many stores are set up worldwide, mainly in the United States (over 1000 shops), but also in Canada, in the United Kingdom, Japan, Denmark and Italy.
The style proposed by Abercrombie and Fitch is characterized by t-shirts and sweatshirts with lively colors and vintage jeans, a trendy style mainly destined to young people, with a collection for men, women and kids.
Concerning the shops, there is a particular atmosphere specific to the brand in each of them. They are all plunged into the darkness, with a very loud music, and what’s more, the salesmen are all half-naked, and it’s possible to take photos with them. All the clothes are also perfumed in the shops, and you can often smell a coming shop from the street.
While respecting the custom, Abercrombie and Fitch will open a new store, in the very luxurious district of the Champs-Elysées, in Paris on May 19th and the brand also intends to open many other stores in whole France if the concept works in Paris.
Young French people, who until now were obliged to go abroad to find clothes from the very-appreciated brand, can now get themselves their favorite sweatshirts in Paris. A really good news for them, that’s for sure!
