In 2010 Corum celebrates the 30th anniversary of its legendary Golden Bridge mechanism. The anniversary is marked by two new models based on the brand´s values: legitimacy and pioneering spirit.
30 years ago, the transparent design of this piece was completely in line with the brand philosophy, whose intention was not to be at the front line of of the swiss watch industry. Thirty years later, this already legendary mechanism recalls an exceptional achievement and a unique expression in watchmaking. Composed of 140 items organized into a rectangular parallel piped 33mm long, 3 mm wide and less than 5 mm thick, it is a masterpiece of micromechanics.
Miss Golden Bridge
In 2010, Corum also celebrates the 30th anniversary by creating a feminine version. In fact, until now, women in search of a Golden Bridge have had to settle for the masculine version. Miss Golden Bridge has a slender, curved form that is presented in an integrated alligator strap that is hand-stitched.
