Fashion: Jewels in honor of Amy Winehouse

Since 1997, Emanuele Rubini, a self-taught sculptor, has worked with marble to create many monumental works.

Recently, Rubini designed 10 unique jewels dedicated to former R&B songstress, Amy Winehouse.

The jewels are named Black Heart, Black Swallowtail, Black Flake, Black Snake, Black Seagull, which are all crafted from black Belgium marble; Turquoise Heart crafted from turquoise stone. The Seventh Treasure and Heart of the Sky, which were both made from the stone of Lapislazzulo; White Heart made from white Carrara marble and the Red Heart which is made from ruby red marble.

On July 23, 2011, Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning. After her death, her album Back to Black became the UK’s bestselling album of the 21st century and in 2012, she was named number 26 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Women in Music.

A native of Puglia, Rubini has participated in Italian and International Simposia and important solo and group exhibitions in Italy.

His artwork can be found in private collections in Italy, Spain, Germany, Lichtenstein, England, the United States, China and Taiwan.
