Fashion: Ricky Martin - the new face of M.A.C.

Cosmetics brand M.A.C said “Goodbye” to Lady Gaga and has already announced its new heroes. So, promo Viva Glam 2012 is gonna be represented by… Ricky Martin! Of course, a man being the main representative of a makeup company may sound strange, but if you dig a bit deeper into history you will find that this is actually the third male star for M.A.C (the first two were Elton John in 2001, and Boy George in 2004). Just to make sure that the Latin superstar does not get bored they also invited Nicki Minaj – a singer, who is widely referred to as “Barbie-version” of Lady Gaga. Let me remind you that all the profits from sales of lipstick Viva Glam M.A.C are donated to AIDS charities, so Ricky and Nicky (sounds great, doesn’t it!) are not in just a commercial but a charity too.

Lipsticks M.A.C Viva Glam Ricky and Viva Glam Nicki will be on sale from February next year in North America, their price will be $ 14. By the way, it is not the first time Minaj is brought to work with M.A.C. Last November, they issued a joint limited collection lipstick Pink 4 Friday (the name comes from the singer’s album title Nicki Pink Friday).

Viva Glam has also been represented by such celebrities as Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliott, Linda Evangelista, Fergie.
