Gourmet: Townhouse Hotel

This cool, fun and fresh retreat by owner Jonathan Morr offers accommodations and lodging with a playful combination of modern design and old fashioned comfort.

The hotel is located in South beach and only steps away from the ocean, Collins Avenue and many Art Deco hotspots. The Townhouse hotel provides the guests a sleek and sexy hideaway for a weekend getaway or long retreat.
The hotel is built in 1939 and has 69 rooms, 2 penthouses and five story building has been creatively redefined by young Paris-based designer India Mahdavi, whose minimalist furnishings provide maximum relaxation and leisure.

The hotel is introducing the newly renovated Rooftop Lounge and a Sushi Bar.
The hallways have been re-invented with equal flippancy, serving as hangout environments soundtracked in stereo, stocked with benches, newspapers and comics.
According to Mahdavi, the idea was to create a happy, unpretentious place for people who have style but don’t need to spend a lot a of money. People who just want to hang around somewhere that’s both edgy and fun.

With the striking color, light and lines, Townhouse is an idyllic setting for production, like photographic, film or something else. Oversized blue pillows adorn each bed, with huge rugs in scarlet and blue. The L shaped couches could double as crash pads for overnight guests.

The beautiful rooftop features seating and tables along with lounge chairs for sunbathing. From Thursday through Saturday, the rooftop is a lounge at night.

The Sushi Bar is Miami’s outpost of the famous New York sushi restaurant BondSt Lounge. This restaurant is located on the ground floor and is known for its intimate, casual atmosphere and its award winning menu.

The lobby has a equal touch of modernity and mischief. They offer a complimentary Parisian breakfast from 7am to 11am. And affordable snacks and beverages are available around the clock, as well as complimentary coffee and tea.
