Motor: 2013 Mercedes SL65 AMG V12 Roadster

The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG V12 Roadster is ready to be launched at the New York Auto Show this year. More details about the hugely anticipated 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG have been released. The very covetable convertible has been given a power-enhancing boost, making it a muscular, agile yet fuel-efficient headturner. The new SL65 AMG is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine that will give you a very respectable 621 horsepower (463 kW / 630 PS) and 737 lb-ft (1000 Nm) of torque.

“The combination of exclusive V12 dynamics and cultivated roadster pleasure was already unique in the previous model. We are certain that, with the new SL65 AMG, we have developed a stunning high-performance automobile beyond compare for a small, but loyal fan base,” says Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.

This particular SL 65 is one of the “45th Anniversary Edition” cars built to celebrate the car’s anniversary. They’re only building 45 of these collector’s items, each in this handsome Designo Magno Graphite color. Other exclusive details include high-gloss chrome everywhere, a “twin blade” grille, matte finish carbon fiber on the exterior bits, and a carbon fiber/aluminum engine cover.
