After two weeks of rest, the World Formula 1 returns and makes the legendary circuit, which in turn is the longest of the season, the Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, a favorite for many drivers.

The Spa-Francorchamps was designed in 1920 by Jules de Their and Henri Langlois Van Ophem, had walked 14,120 meters and roads in the region. Later, in 1978, was cut in half for safety reasons and has since been amended several times. He has witnessed historic moments, as the mourning of Mika Hakkinen and Michael Schumacher in Belgia Grand Prix 2000, and has been the scene of numerous accidents, as the output produced in the Belgian Grand Prix of 1998 in which 13 drivers were involved in a spectacular crash, fortunately without physical consequences.

The next weekend, Dani Clos, and fifth for the fourth time this season, will get on the HRT F112 Formula 1 Team in the first free practice session. “Spa is a circuit that I have good memories. They won my first international race car, that’s something you do not forget and I do have a special feeling for this circuit. These days I could get some rest, at least travel, but I have not stopped training since last week and I uploaded the pace to get to Belgium in top condition and to give myself up, “said the youngster.

The pilot accompany Pedro de la Rosa in the first practice session, replacing Narain Karthikeyan at the legendary circuit.
