Syrena Sport Strikes Back

Built 60 years ago, this classic sports car was first introduced to the world as the FSO Syrena Sport. A big success with aficionados and casual car fans alike, the design was a two door Ferrari inspired coupe.

In spite of its commercial success, however, the car failed to go into mass production due to economic vagaries and political follies. While one car was managed to be discretely produced and tucked away, it was then destroyed in the 70s, ending the Syrena legacy.

But at last, the Syrena has struck back with the help of Rafal Czubaj, a polish entrepeneur set on resurrecting the classic car. The Syrena Sport has been given a total transformation under the hands of designer Pavlo Burkatsky.

Restoring the car to its timeless beauty and beyond, the Syrena even received a few upgrades, such as a Nissan 370Z engine and chassis. The revamped ride now has an engine capable of going 0 to 60mph in just 4.5 seconds, and reaches up to 180mph.

Buyers are able to choose from the base model, equipped with 330bph, or the turbocharged model, with 450bph. As for pricing, you’ll have to make a request, as each Syrena is manufactured upon order.
