Hotel Jazz, one of nine Núñez and Navarro Group owned hotels in Barcelona, has been placed by Condé Nast Traveller readers in the top 100 Southern European hotels. The hotel, which received an average score of 86.4, weighed in at number 52 in the rankings, the second highest Barcelona-based hotel in the list.
This selection, which has been held since 1988, was pieced together with a number of certain criteria in mind, such as cuisine, location, design, room characteristics and services on offer. This time, 14 Spanish hotels were featured on the list, among them Madrid’s Hotel Urban, the Alfonso XIII in Seville, Barcelona’s Hotel Arts, the Parador Hostal Dos Reis Católicos in Santiago de Compostela, the María Cristina in San Sebastián, the Westin Palace in Madrid, Ronda’s Parador in the province of Malaga and the Ritz in Madrid.
Among these we also find Hotel Jazz. Since opening its doors in February 2004, it has become a reference point in the centre of Barcelona. Its unbeatable location in the heart of the city and meticulously selected décor, a blend of pastel hues and loungeable furniture, have turned Hotel Jazz into one of Barcelona’s most cosmopolitan and comfortable locales. The daring juxtaposition of elegance and modern-design just seeps out of all 108 rooms that comprise this hotel.
The Top 100 Southern Europe Hotels questionnaire was available to Condé Nast Traveller readers via its official webpage, which recorded over 25,000 votes.
