By the Le CITY Deluxe USA Brand Ambassador – Derek Sparks: 2015 Amber Lounge Monaco Fashion Show returns for the Monaco Grand Prix greater and beyond anyone’s imagination with THREE dazzling fashion designers ready to flash their lavish designs at the ultimate charity fashion show.
This year’s Amber Lounge Monaco Fashion Show will be on Friday, May 22, 2015, as the sparkling opening to Amber Lounge U*NITE, which includes Amber Lounge’s renowned charity auction, world-class cuisine, and the acclaimed Fashion After Party.
With the backdrop of the stunning Mediterranean Sea, the Amber Lounge Monaco Fashion Show fuses a sensational suspended runway over the swimming pool of the Le Méridien Beach Plaza Monte Carlo hotel. Everyone agrees, this is the showcase event on the F1 social circuit, and no event anywhere in the world – other than Amber Lounge – will present F1 drivers on the catwalk. For the 2015 Show, the gallant Formula 1 drivers will be dressed only in bespoke Apsley suits and will be joined by a flock of global supermodels wearing amazing pieces from fashion icons Julien Macdonald and Melissa Odabash (Odabash & Macdonald).
The designs of Melissa Odabash are worn by a bevy of A-listers throughout the world including Rihanna and the Duchess of Cambridge. Similarly, Julien Macdonald was hand-picked by Beyoncé to design the luxurious wardrobe for her Mrs. Carter world tour and will now collaborate on an awe-inspiring resort wear collection for Amber Lounge. The designs will intertwine Grecian-inspired elegance, Parisian style, and high-wattage sex appeal to the delight of A-list celebs and Amber Lounge VIP Guests. The front row seats of Amber Lounge Fashion are among the most desired across the globe but are filled by a very select few such as H.S.H Prince Albert II and H.S.H Princess Charlene of Monaco, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Bernie Ecclestone, Jennifer Lawrence, and Naomi Campbell, just to give some examples. Prominent F1 drivers have made the walk across the Amber Lounge runway, including Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo, Valtteri Bottas, and Jenson Button.
Since it began in 2006, under the High Patronage of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco, the glittering Amber Lounge Fashion Show brings together the sophistication of couture and the excitement of motorsport resulting in the most dynamic and extravagant charity event of the Grand Prix. Proceeds from Amber Lounge Fashion 2015 will go to Autism Rocks, which raises money solely for the Autism Research Trust with the assistance of some of the most notable persons in the music world. Amber Lounge has previously helped raise more than $4 million for charities across the globe.
