Peace, love, and happiness filled Nikki Beach Miami this past Saturday when Miami native, Alina Villasante, debuted her latest spring/summer collection of Peace Love World at the What Women Want Fashion Show. From the waiters wearing Peace Love World tops to black and white beach balls, the all white venue was adorned in the brand’s symbols. All attendees received complimentary glass of champagne and a gift bag filled with goodies that included a beach towel, a backpack, and a few other accessories from the collection. Opening the show was Jeanine Mason and Kupono, from So You Think You Can Dance, as they performed a duet down the catwalk in Peace Love World attire. The spring/summer collection was comprised of bohemian ensembles and nautical symbols such as anchors and hooks.
Another participant of the What Women Want Fashion Show was The Honey Shine mentoring program by Tracy Wilson Mourning. The purpose of the program is to educate girls and women on nutrition, health, sex and drugs by offering bi-monthly workshops, field trips and a six-week day camp.
