The Frankies Bikinis runway show debuted the 2017 collection with a psychedelic 1960's theme that rocked the standing-room-only crowd. The line's owner, founder, and chief designer Francesca ("Frankie") Aiello wants women to feel beautiful and empowered when they put on a Frankies bikini and no other era exudes female empowerment than the 1960's.
Frankies Bikinis, having now completed its third Swim Week, has become one of the most hotly anticipated runway shows. The sexy seamless swimwear is worn by supermodels and celebrities including
Victoria’s Secret's Candice Swanepoel, Kylie Jenner, and Ireland Baldwin. The 2017 collection features five new silhouettes with flirty bardot necklines, ultra feminine lace-up detailing, and their signature boho-chic crochet accents. But Frankies Bikinis is far more than looks alone. Remarks Aiello, “Having a suit that you can surf in that’s also sexy and detailed and unique is really important and I felt like that was missing in the market.”
