On Sunday, July 19, 2015, Indah dazzled over 500 VIP guests, swimwear insiders, top media members, and powerhouse buyers with a stunning runway show debuting the 2016 collection, Collage. Indah designer, Libby Desantis, showcased her new vision with several looks inspired by diverse eras – art deco from the 20’s, 70’s punk rock, layered with 80’s glam, followed by 90’s minimalism. Collaborating with artist, Anya Brock, Collage’s color palette is drawn from an abstract painting with bright hues contrasting well against darker styles.
High wispy hair, loose intricate braids, the finest styling products from René Furterer and luxe hair extensions from Indique created a hairstyle for the runway models that is best described as rocker chic meets Mad Max. With a bronze, goddess look, courtesy of FakeBake, and nails done by Zoya, midnight navy and metallic silver polishes popped against the tan models. These colors provided a posh elegance complimenting the tough looks of the metal jewelry by Blaine Bowen. Sunglasses, by Electric Eyewear, with their sleek frames and blackout lenses, provided the finishing touch to the look of the Indah woman: a confident, no-regrets mermaid with an “I don’t care” attitude.
INDAH, based in Bali, is a leading women’s swim and beachwear line, founded in 1997. Distinguished by dazzling colors, seductive cuts, exceptional details and elegant fabrics, the Collage Collection exemplifies the meaning of Indah, which, in Indonesian, means “beautiful.”
