On January 26, 2015, residents of Jade Ocean in Sunny Isles attended the first Luxury Lifestyle Showcase event of the year. The event was co-hosted by Luxury Concierge Network’s founder Marcelo Rivero, and the building’s Chief Concierge, John Lenis, a veteran and expert in luxury lifestyle who has been its concierge since the opening in 2008.
The Jade Ocean’s elegant Porte Cochere, regularly used as the valet parking area and driveway, was transformed into a fabulous social venue overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Ambiance lighting offered a great transition as the sun came down. Cocktail tables and bars were set up throughout, and a select group of luxury brands became part of the Luxury Lifestyle Showcase theme.
This event was exclusively produced to entertain the residents of Jade Ocean, as part of the Concierge’s commitment to provide the ultimate lifestyle experience in the comfort of their home. “We are one of the premier residential communities in Sunny Isles, and the events we put together for our residents are a reflection of that,” says John Lenis. Jade Ocean Residences is managed by FirstService Residential, one of the leading property management companies in the United States, which manages more than 2.5 billion square feet of residential and commercial properties.
The participating luxury brands included Lou La Vie, an exotic car rental company with a portfolio of services including rentals of some of the most luxurious car brands and models in the market, a private members club based on an annual fee that gives members access to their entire fleet of cars, and driver’s services by licensed private security professionals, which guarantees safety to their discerning clients. Burgess Yachts is the leading yacht and mega-yacht charter and management service provider in the world, with offices in Monaco, New York, Singapore, London, Los Angeles, Moscow and, of course, Miami. Another industry leader showcasing at the event was Armani Casa, the exclusive home furniture and décor line created by Giorgio Armani. The fashion component was graciously delivered by Saks Fifth Avenue with a display of ready to wear collections for men and women.
Art was a noticeable component of the affair, as renowned gallery Markowicz Fine Art displayed spectacular sculptures throughout the event area and building’s lobby. Featured artists included Constance McSilver, a talented well established artist with a background as psychoanalyst and social worker. McSilver’s works are bold, vivid and often whimsical as she pours her passion for helping others into her artwork, which often shows in camouflaged and masked human figures that transcend into a fantasy world. Each piece delves into the intricacies of the human psyche, but with a humorous twist.
Onna Caviar set up a stunning champagne and caviar bar, where guests could sample their exquisite product imported from Switzerland. Hor D’oeuvres were passed around butler style, courtesy of Barok Catering and 1826 Restaurant, while Barton G made a grand entrance towards the end of the evening with a colorful and creatively presented dessert table offering an assortment of sweet delights. Good entertainment is always a critical component of any good event, and in this case it was in the hands of DJ Viktor, and talented duo Victoria Dayn and Mary Am, who performed classic and contemporary pop and rock songs throughout the evening.
