After tasting success with the launch of five exclusive outlets in the country, Canali has now opened its sixth boutique in the South Cultural Capital of India. And just like the other stores, the interiors of this elegant space allow guests to enjoy the splendor that comes with trying on a Canali suit: Extended over a space of 800 square feet, the store design has been inspired by Piet Mondrians artistic geometric shapes giving the store a sleek and elegant feel. Also, complementing the design are grey crystal walls that contrast well with the beige marble flooring.
On entering, one is greeted with a row of fine, sleek suits on the left that epitomize the fine art of Neapolitan tailoring Canali is so famous for. The monotony of the dark suits is broken with a display of brightly-hued ties and pocket squares, while the right hand side of the store offers casual ensembles with its array of colourful linens, casuals, jeans and polo-neck shirts. Guests can also avail a choice selection of accessories from cufflinks to shoes that are exhibited in the centre of the store. Of course, the showstopper is the Spring Summer 13 collection that was showcased at the store launch. The collection features an exquisite nawabi line that is exclusive to Indian buyers alone and features the classic bandhgala with a modern Italian finish.
Personal shoppers and bespoke tailoring has also been made available, and can be requested for at the rear end of the store.
