Delhi-based women can now look forward to renewing their age-old friendship with exquisite diamonds and other precious ores with much aplomb with the Amalya Jewellery Trunk Show from the 5th – 19th of October at The Leela Palace, Chanakyapuri.
A brand launched by the luxe hotel chain, each Amalya boutique features handcrafted silverware and artefacts, as an attempt to restore ancient artisanal work that ranges across intricate Pashmina shawls and delicate leather footwear to authentic precious jewellery and even organic skincare, all of which takes several months to create, in addition to chosen designers and their work. For the trunk show, designer Sunita Kapoor shall display her signature collection of handcrafted jewellery in addition to selected bespoke pieces with precious and semi-precious stones. “In an ode to femininity, our collection focuses on kundan, polki and pearls reflecting the regal splendour and spirit of India,” says Samyukta Nair, head of design and operations, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.
Amalya’s Diwali hampers are priced to start at Rs2,500-Rs50,000, and can also be customized with the help of the friendly Amalya staff.
