One a recent summer evening, the city’s party set migrated to Shroom where designer Varun Bahl and Grey Goose celebrated their association that has culminated with the ‘Grey Goose Journey,’ – a vibrant collection inspired by four cocktails made with the upmarket vodka brand.
The collection, which is set to show at IIFA Rocks, at the Videocon IIFA Weekend 2012, slated to be held in Singapore early next month, fashions itself after Amour, Lavender Bliss, Fiesta Espanola and Spice – four trademark Grey Goose cocktails. The cocktails themselves have been crafted to evoke the characters of four iconic cities: therefore you have Sophisticated Paris, Edgy Tokyo, Playful Madrid and finally Disco Mumbai. The Collection is characterized by aromantic evening ensemble of colors, cut patterns and drapes.
Guests at the do were seen taking it all in – the cocktails that is! And the evening was kept buoyant by the eclectic percussion based music of Merlin D’Souza and Shalmali Kolgade of the ‘Pareshaan’ (Ishaqzaade) fame. Notables seen at the event included Gauri and Nainika, Rohit Bal, Rina Dhaka, Namrata Joshipura, Vivek Sahni, Sanjeev Bijli and Ramola Bachchan.
