Launched only a few days ago, the store is tastefully designed with a hand-painted mural adorning the back wall along with an installation as you enter the store, lending the place a very relaxed vacation like aura.
According to the brand, the Turquoise & Gold woman is a free-spirited, global traveler as elegant as she is adventurous. Speaking on the occasion, Samara Varma, Head of Marketing & Communication, T&G said, “After brightening up Goa & Bangalore with our signature colorful prints, we felt it was time to give the capital a chance to join in on the fun. We’re so proud to unveil our flagship boutique at the Emporio in New Delhi, truly, the fashion capital of the country!”
The guests comprised of lovers of style from Bangalore, Goa & Delhi who came together to celebrate the spirit of T&G. Some of those that attended the launch were Anita Bajaj, AD Singh, Sonalika Sahay, Amrish Kumar, Abhishek Gupta, Rajesh Thakore, Lakshmi Rana, TV actor Sameer Malhotra, Nayantara Sood, Karishma & Samrath Bedi, photographer Waseem Khan.
T&G opened its first store in 2007 in Goa. The success of the store led to a second T&G store in Bangalore’s Luxury mall – The cCllection at UB City in 2011. The distinctive prints and easy silhouettes of the T&G line were an instant success. With the launch of their first store in DLF Emporio New Delhi, T&G taps into the fashion-forward Delhi market. The brand’s expansion plans include launching retail outlet stores in the Far East: – Bali, Phuket, and Singapore. In addition, the brand will also expand to Europe: – Ibiza and Marbella.
