Delhi’s posh nocturnal watering hole adds a limited-edition champagne to its choice selection to celebrate its second anniversary in the capital.

Ringing in the festival season at Kitty Su certainly seems ideal when you consider young gun Keshav Suri’s latest collaboration with premium champagne manufacturring house Drappier for his nightclub. To celebrate its second anniversary, a special-edition champagne, Kitty Su Carte d’Or, has been made available at Kitty Su – by the bottle or by glass, featuring a personalized stamp to showcase its association with the nightclub.

Originally launched in 1952, the champagne favours the pinot noir grape in its blend, and offers hints of peaches and red berries. “Technically Drappier is using a negligible amount of sulphites in its cuvee, allowing a very low amount of sulphur in the final product to enhance the taste and true nature of the grapes,” offers Matt Monhardt, GM, Kitty Su.

Priced at Rs 13,200, topped only by a Louis Roderer Cristal Brut and Dom Perignon priced at Rs 38,500 and Rs 27,500 respectively, the dry champagne complements a crumbled and rolled white fish fillet with Wasabi remoulade. For the less experimental, a serving of Beluga caviar would appear an ideal choice.
