The Association of Amigos del Paseo de Gracia (APG) has submitted its proposal for the Christmas lights for the main commercial hub of Barcelona. This is a new design that recalls the modernist aesthetic so prevalent in the Paseo.
APG, nonprofit organization that brings together the main shops, hotels and restaurant on the Paseo de Gracia and vicinity, debuts the new modernist aesthetic clear lamp for Christmas lights tour.
APG that looks after the interests, the revitalization and promotion of Barcelona main commercial hub, has introduced this new design in 2009 after totally change the appearance of your Christmas lights. Committed to the environment, the new lamp designed fully sustainable, made from LEDs to minimize power consumption. The structure has a width of 2.80 meters and a height of 1.95 meters and has two colors, blue cool white, so the structure of the warm white lamp and flashing yellow for wreaths.
The installation runs from the beginning of the Paseo de Gracia until the end of the Jardinets de Gràcia and began on October 5. The tree lighting is scheduled for December 1, to identify with the city of Barcelona.
The association, with its philosophy of continuous improvement and promotion of the Paseo de Gracia, and wanted to go for a change in the Christmas lighting.
