If you’re looking for a special place to dine out this Spring, you should go to Menton’s Mirazur restaurant in Monaco. Its recently-awarded second Michelin star is only one pearl in a string of accolades that include a four-toque rating from the Guide Millau and a 35th place ranking in the 2009 San Pellegrino guide to the World’s Top 50 restaurants.
Mirazur is a gastronomic restaurant offering truly ambrosial cuisine. Customers can choose between four types of menu, each of them prepared by experienced chefs. This restaurant offers a fantastic view of Menton and the Mediterranean sea and is furnished stylishly with elegant and modern furnishings.
The restaurant is located at a perfect location. Its position on the sea-facing side of Menton’s Avenue Aristide Briand ensures an elevated panoramic view of one of the most beautiful stretches of coast on the Riviera.
Chef Mauro Colagreco and his international team turn out menus of indescribable elegance, each of them making use of the hundred or more varieties of flowers and vegetables culled from his paradise-like garden.
The result is an original and fresh taste, particularly when combined with the flavours of the sea: lemon and caviar, or scallops and the clean bite of radishes, or sorrel and calamari.
They also have a comprehensive and excellent wine list. Restaurant Mirazur is a terrific experience. The preparation and service is, as you would expect from a restaurant of this calibre, superb.
