Culture: Kenzo shows photographs 'taken over'

The amazing proposal of Kenzo in the exhibition “Night Birds“ has already visited cities like London and Paris, and now comes to Barcelona, another city known for being at the forefront of design, fashion and urban art. This curious proposal of the Japanese is their way of making known the origin and inspiration of her new perfume, Flower Tag.

This idea arose because the photographer and artistic director of the firm saw how his photographs were exposed outdoors in the Luxembourg Gardensin Paris, fell prey to vandalism. Although most of his images were destroyed or stolen, three of them won a new symbolism after being graffiteadas. Thus was born the idea of offering a graffiti artist a new creative space, a different canvas in the form of night photos taken from that day. He contacted the British graffiti artist Kid Acne to plasmara on night photographs captured in different parts of the world, his vision playful and light, tinged with humor or poetry.

The exhibition will be open from 10 until 23 April, and those who come may tagger your own bottle of Flower Tag, can win the art book “Nighttime Birds“.
