ME London, the latest jewel in the urban hotels in London, preparing the last details to open its doors next September in central London. This is the fifth establishment of ME by Meliá, the Meliá brand vanguard Hotels International, which boasts a spectacular design by the world renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners.
Located in the former headquarters of BBC radio (Marconi House) -near Covent Garden- this historic building has been remodeled into a new look, with spectacular beauty dotted with contemporary elements, where the sense of light and space play a key role display that allows the best values and brand attributes. The hotel offers 157 rooms including 16 suites and the spectacular “Suite ME”, which has two floors and with direct access to the rooftop bar.
A large elliptical tower topped the building on the corner of Aldwych and Strand streets and is crowned by a glass dome. The interior is dominated by an elegant pyramidal atrium, following the triangular floor of the hotel, which are distributed around the room. This design, which updates the 1904 building to maintain its noble character, has been conceived with a contrast of light and dark shades like black marble in the hallways or white leather walls of the rooms.
ME by Meliá offers a true brand experience, as reflected in the success of its four facilities in the world, including the renowned ME Madrid in the central Plaza de Santa Ana and ME Barcelona, designed by Dominique Perrault. To ensure first-class experience, the brand has consolidated its hotels the figure of “Aura Experience Manager”, responsible for ensuring each guest’s stay.
