Fawaz Gruosi, the founder of De Grisogono, is one of those rare examples when a man can predict a woman’s needs with one hundred percent certainty. This man is a true artist, who is more than eager to create fascinating pieces of art.
He spent his childhood in Florence, Italy. Tuscany, as it is well known, is the place where some of the most talented, world-class artists come from. It was there that Fawaz learned to appreciate beauty and the love of art. However, the desire to work in the art industry eventually forced him to give up his studies for independent living. The jewelry trade gave him a lot from the professional point of view while travelling around the world taught him an appreciation for different cultures. It is worth mentioning that Gruosi, compared to an average jeweler, takes the aesthetics of beauty a lot deeper and with much more detail. The aspiration to define new trends and create something unique as a whole was the determining factor in his career. Soon after, Fawaz began working for Harry Winston and Bvlgari.
Later on he started his own, very well recognized company. Initially De Grisogono was not meant to be for profit. Gruosi’s new endeavor was just a way to realize innovative and artistic ideas.
However, the customers truly loved the refined design as if it was from the future. It is noteworthy that while widening the horizons of jewelry art Gruosi also brought tremendous contribution to development of jewelry production.
