The new LUC Qualité Fleurier comes mounted on a brown alligator strap, hand-stitched and fitted with a rose-gold buckle. This unusual pattern is a limited edition with only 300 copies.

Often rewarded and recognized as a crucible of perfection, the LUC watch collection meets the highest standard of good invoice Helvetica. For the third time, Chopard House has successfully submitted one of these pieces for the Qualité Fleurier test.
The Qualité mark is an independent certification and is considered extremely difficult to obtain. In 2012, Chopard manufacturing has resubmitted a new LUC Qualité Fleurier model whose sphere holds proud the terms “Qualité Fleurier” and “Chronometer” to further emphasize their exquisite quality.
The seal is a comprehensive quality assurance that is extremely demanding and is granted from the Foundation of the same name. Qualite Fleurier Foundation is an independent certification body established in 2001 and is available to all Swiss watch brands and European works under the supervision of a Technical Committee and Foundation Board.
The certification process goes through a succession of stages which aim to ensure not only the accuracy of the watch movement but also the reliability, durability and aesthetic quality of finish.
The precision of each movement is controlled by the reference in the matter, the Swiss Chronometer Control, the only body in Switzerland to award the coveted title of “Chronometer.”
Over two weeks of tests of the movement in five positions and under three different temperature levels, the variation of the progress of the latter should not deviate from the tolerance -4 / +6 seconds per day.
For its part, the durability and strength are controlled by the protocol Chronofiable, practiced randomly on a representative sample of finished watches. These are subjected to a series of aging tests in hot, cold and moisture as well as traction and repeated pressure, numerous activations of the buttons, magnetic fields and shocks. This set of tests last three weeks.
