The Grandvalira Igloo Hotel, located at 2,350 meters, is a peculiar and unique hotel, only in southern Europe, located in Building III Coma Xirixuca Grandvalira-Grau Roig. The hotel is fully immersed in nature Andorran Pyrenees and has a breathtaking view of the slopes of Grau Roig.
When it’s cold and snow accumulates sufficient for building the igloo, starts the building of this landmark hotel. The process involves about 10 people for 3 weeks or so.
The hotel is built 100% snow and consists of a bar, a restaurant, a three romantic rooms, a suite and a romantic standard. Each igloo-room has approximately 20m2 and is equipped with everything needed for a special night in the snow. The hotel also has a private terrace overlooking Grau Roig, serving oysters, sushi, champagne and other delicacies.
A new feature this year is the snow jacuzzi open to the public, where those who wish to relax after skiing, surrounded by snow and enjoy sessions of 30 minutes or an hour, complemented with a glass of champagne.
