Luxurious palace Falaknuma, which means “mirror of heaven”, located near the Indian city of Hyderabad, re-opened after major multi-million dollar restoration, but as a luxury hotel suites.
The hotel offers 60 rooms in varying degrees of comfort with elegant Victorian-style furnishings and furniture of the XIX century. The largest room of the palace, known as the Royal Suite of 500 square meters is the top floor of the building and has access to a private terrace overlooking the main mosque of the city.
Guests can spend time in the billiard room, library, which features more than 3000 kinds of books in different languages, as well as swimming and sunbathing in the huge swimming pool in the yard.
The hotel also has two restaurants serving Indian, European and Japanese cuisine as well as a lounge bar and a private dining room for 2-5 people, booking is necessary to take care in advance.
The cost of living in a standard room is 350 euros per night.
