The emblematic Hotel Claris Barcelona was restored to retain a sphere of luxury and art that has always characterized him. The new Claris hotel is more than ever with brand new rooms, renovations at the reception and the bar, East 47, but always using the same language and original expression.
In this renewal as important is the incorporation of a selection of 200 pieces of pre-Columbian art of the Maya culture, Chimu, Nayarit, Tairona Quimbaya, Veracruz, Jalisco, among others, to complement its renowned art collections of Egyptian, Roman and Buddhist.
Part of private collection Derby Hotels Collection has brought together over 35 years through international auctions, museums and collectors. They wanted to refresh the concept Claris, 20 years later with a different decor in the rooms, with a unique, based on the use of noble materials of highest quality.
The project was carried out by the team from Derby Hotels Collection as usual in the company. To this is added the iPod dock in every room.
The elegance continues in every corner, as it has respected the building’s structure and maintains its panoramic lifts that give so much personality. In addition, the hall has evolved gaining even larger thanks to the play of colors and lighting, and has built a new reception.
