Lute Suites is a project initiated by Marcel Wanders a famous Dutch designer. In Lute Suites he mixes modern and classic objects in order to give this special touch. Each suite has a front door like in your own house.
All the Suites have a kitchenette, a wine rack, a flat LCD screen. Inside the bathroom you will find a bath and a separated shower.
Seven former workers’ cottages transformed by Dutch chef Peter Lute and celebrated designer Marcel Wanders into a set of deluxe suites where design fans can gasp at contemporary creativity at its best.
These luxury apartments are located on the site if a former gunpowder factory in Ouderkerk aan den Amstel which is the Gastronomic center of Amsterdam.
Not to be confused with a hotel, Lute Suites is an expansive “urban” Project of unparalleled creative energy. Each of the seven luxury suites have three floors: a ground floor, mezzanine and a bedroom at the top, all featuring designs Wanders has created for various brands such as Moooi and Cappelini. Bizassa mosaics, a bit edgy furniture, and his tendency for oversized lighting are all present. The apartments, which average 70 square meters, provide gorgeous views of the Amstel River through Dutch picture windows.
Breakfast can be delivered to your door from the neighboring Lute Restaurant, but no room service is provided. Thus the need for kitchens, which, imaginatively decorated in pinks, oranges and Swarovski crystals are home to espresso machines, microwaves and dishwashers. Other five-star amenities include wireless internet access and sumptuous La Prairie products.
