How and in which moment you started to feel attracted by fashion?
I started to feel attracted to fashion since I was a child. My parents were in this business too so I literally grew up under the cutting desks surrounded by designs, precious fabrics and furs.
It was a natural step for me to get involved in it.
Over the years I transmitted my passion to my wife and to my children too.
How would you describe fashion “Made in Italy”?
I think that the fashion “Made in Italy” is the homing beacon for the world of fashion. It gives the inspiration and directions to all the artists and is a guiding light for my working life.

Which moral values define Diego M?
DIEGO M is such a family; we grow up together with our values of respect, trust and flexibility. We are willing and helpful to each other and to the customers and everyone contributes to this growth.
How do you and your wife complement in your design?
What does she and what is your part?
We are married so we deal “fighting”,like all the married couples do,I guess..but we can always count on the respect,faithandsupportwegivetoeachotherandwe cooperate as a team.I’m in charge of the stylistic and productive part of the company and
she’s my “Talking Cricket”, giving her feminine point of view on the designs and taking care of the communications, marketing and sales. Your collections are available in the USA, Europa and Russia, 3 very different regions. Which differences do you notice in the taste of the clients in these countries?

Each season we propose a wide range of products to satisfy the taste of a wide variety of countries.The U.S. market, for example, loves the clean style and natural colors; comfortable trendy styles with earth colors and furs attract the European market instead. The Russian market for us is a great place to work as we can really use our creative flow, as Russian customers are absolutely fashionable. They love the most stylish and luxury pieces of our collection, rich furs, ambitious materials and color combinations and I can literally leave my inspiration run wild creating something special for this market, proposing very feminine, appealing and unique pieces, that they can really understand and appreciate.
Which is the recipe to continue increasing in these difficult times?
We never give up trying to improve our collections with an intense research for materials and
colors, giving the most stylish items with the best quality. Even in hard times like these, we can’t give any less to our customers.
What is the “must” of the collection?
The must of the collection is the “4 in 1”, a transformable coat that could become 4 different items in one. It’s absolutely versatile; the coat can be separated by its lining becoming a reversible trench and, detaching the sleeves, you could obtain two different sleeveless jackets too. The undisputed new thing of the autumn/winter 2012-2013 collection is the “fox stretch" that dominates the scene, reversible of a soft color... why this skin and not another?
The “Fox Stretch” is definitively a comfortable material, moreover is very suitable for all the shapes and that makes it easy to wear. Nonetheless it’s a great innovation on this field.
