Essence Skin & Laser center, a diamond in the rough, located in beautiful Hallandale Beach, Florida. Le CITY deluxe sat down with Yael Emano, President of the exclusive medical spa, to talk about her innovative skin care center.
I don’t think so since Miami is a place where “up keep” is essential. People take pride in taking care of themselves. Once they find a place that offers them quality in their treatments and quality in service, they become lifelong patients.
How did you get to your current position and is this something you have always dreamed about?
I have always had an interest in the beauty industry, as my children got older, I felt that I needed to do something for myself. I realized that my interest laid in building my own business. I quickly became interested in the laser hair removal industry and began running a small practice. I began to get busy and that was when I met Dr. Martin Ziac, a renowned dermatologist in Florida. This year we decided to take it to the next level and opened Essence Skin & Laser Center

Current trends are “individuality” and “back to basics”. People want to show their uniqueness and are tired off all the technical developments. Do you think those trends will cost you clients?
Besides having one of the leading South Florida’s dermatologists on your side, what makes “Essence skin and laser Centre” special?
We are special because we focus on keeping our patients happy. While the beauty industry has become very oversaturated and competitive in Miami, patients will always go back to the
place that treated them the best. We are honest and inform our patients about the realistic results that every treatment will give them.
Every day a new development appears on the market. Innovation is the key word, how do you secure your top position?
Skin Care is an Evolving Industry and keeping up with the newest innovations is key. Although there are always new products coming out on the market, it is important not to get blind sided because they may not offer the best results. We take pride in our practice in testing and researching every piece of equipment before recommending a treatment to our patients.
Did you fulfil your goals by being CEO of this innovative medical spa or do you still have any unrealized dreams and ambitions?
I have definitely fulfilled my goal, however; I will always strive for more. My ultimate goal is to make Essence Skin and Laser Center one of the most sought out Centers in Miami, a place where patients feel comfortable, happy, and satisfied. We have many new things in store
